What happened in Production section:
Issues recovering the OH 9-5/8” csg (in preparation for ST). Swabbing in annulus and back flow up string.

What Was Planned

Pull 9 5/8″ cut casing without encountering any issues.

What Was Learned

The 9-5/8” casing cement job appears to have had a lot of spacer pumped (17m3=584m). The spacer over time must have reacted with the shale in the OH – this caused the 9-5/8” casing pull to be very tight and swabbing on annulus. Likewise the spacer flipped with the mud causing heavy imbalance (1.54 sg versus 1.45sg). Potentially plan ahead and reduce the spacer volume if possible.

What Actions Are Required

Update RAP in order to raise awareness in advance for future operations.
